Coming to ECT in summer 2026, The SpongeBob Musical teaches audiences that optimism, teamwork, and embracing individuality are powerful tools in overcoming adversity. As Bikini Bottom faces destruction, SpongeBob steps up to prove that even the most underestimated person can make a big difference. The show emphasizes the importance of friendship, courage in the face of fear, and standing up for what’s right. Ultimately, it reminds us that no matter how different we are, we all have something valuable to contribute — and together, we’re stronger!
We are so proud to have ECT alum Aaron Reynolds as our director. You may have seen Aaron in an ECT show in our early days or as stage manager for Guys & Dolls and Matilda the Musical. He is no stranger to what ECT is all about and we are really excited to watch him bring this show to life. We are also excited about the fantastic team he has put together - Jacob Nichols as music director, Julia Hart as choreographer, and Abigail Baham as assistant choreographer. |
