Bios - Ellington Community Theatre

CREATIVE TEAM

Aaron Reynolds - Director
This is my 5th year with ECT, but my first as director. When I am not spending time with this amazing group, I am on stage with Opera House Players where I have played Franz in Rock Of Ages, Don in A Chorus Line, and Squeegee Man in RENT. I also have worked with many other theaters in the area including LTM (Dwyane in 9 to 5) and Unity House Players (Trent Oliver in The PROM). I am also a proud member of the improv troupe Phantom Sheep Players. Love you grandma.

Julia Hart - Choreographer/Tapping Anemone
This is Julia’s second show with ECT, and she is beyond thrilled to make her choreography debut. As much as she enjoys being on stage, with credits including ECT’s Matilda (Mrs. Wormwood), TGS’s Puffs (Sally), OHP’s Rock of Ages (Ensemble), and more, it has been a joy to have the opportunity to work on the other side of the production. Working with performers of all ages and abilities has provided such a fun, creative canvas. She hopes everyone enjoys seeing all of the hard work come to life and has the “best day ever!”

Jacob Nichols - Music Director
Jacob is so excited to be doing SpongeBob with this incredible group! A Hartt School of Music, Westfield State and Holyoke Community College grad, he recently left teaching elementary school music to move onto middle school band in CT. He has been drumming for over 20 years, and has drummed and sang all over the area. He’s played in local bands, at the Majestic Theater, performed at Six Flags, and has played in the pits of musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Rock of Ages, The Prom and many many others. He has also been on stage in OHP’s Merrily We Roll Along as Charley Kringas, as well as Jerry Allison in the Majestic’s Buddy Holly and a few other select roles. He has also music directed youth productions such as Frozen, and Aladdin, and had music directed Fun Home right as the pandemic hit. In his spare time he loves to sing, watch Broadway shows, play video games, and travel. He wants to give a huge shoutout to his girlfriend Sam who he is so excited to be in a show with, and his family for all the support!

Abigail Baham - Assistant Choreographer/Dance Captain/Tapping Anemone/Solo Sardine
Abigail Baham is so excited to be in another ECT show! You may have seen her as The Acrobat in ECT’s production of Matilda last summer. She wants to give a special shout out to Julia Hart for all her support and hard work, and to her best friends, Jazmine and Horatio, for being her test dummies (victims? who’s to say) while she made them tap dance in her living room.

Amelia Crocker - Stage Manager
Amelia is VERY excited to make her stage manager debut!!! She has been a member of ECT since Covid Cabaret in 2020. You may have seen her as a Newsie in Newsies, or a plate in Beauty And The Beast, a hotbox dancer/gambler in Guys And Dolls, plus last year she was the Assistant Stage Manager for Matilda. Outside of ECT Amelia is a youth martial arts instructor at American Karate in town. She also attends Springfield College during the school year, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and is hoping to minor in Special Education, plus her involvement in their Honors Program. Her career goal is to become a children's speech therapist! She loves to draw, sing, play video games, and hang out with her friends. She wants to thank her family and the creative team for encouraging her to get out of her comfort zone!!! Lots of love to the cast, crew, and all those involved in making this show possible!

Owen Feindel - Set Designer & Builder
Owen Feindel started his career in sets as a member of OKP and worked on shows such as Sound of Music, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Xanadu. He continued his work at Western New England University through Stageless Players building sets for Little Shop of Horrors, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and working as Technical Director for Little Women and Chicago. Since graduating, he worked with OHP on Rock of Ages, was the Carpenter for ECT's Guys and Dolls in 2024 and Set Designer & Carpenter for ECT’s Matilda in 2025. He is super excited to be back in Ellington and hopes that everybody enjoys the show!

Alice Mahon - Sound Engineer
Alice Mahon (she/her) is nearing the end of her Masters of Education program at University of Saint Joseph and holds a B.F.A in Theater Arts with a double minor in Music and Studio Arts. Since the pandemic, she has been working professionally both on stage, in film, and behind the scenes, and prides herself in finding new ways to make creative statements through design and production, and expression. Most recently, she helped lead the Art Department for Pedro Bermudez's Mary When You Follow Her (2025), worked as a carpenter on Matilda (2026) the musical, and as the Production Designer/Art Department Head on They Just Look At Me Now (2026). Alice is a creator and do-er in every sense and is looking forward to making her return to ECT for the first time since 2017.

CAST

CJ Firetto - SpongeBob
This is CJ‘s eighth show with ECT and he will be portraying the role of SpongeBob this year. He also has experience working with other directors throughout the years of ECT, in middle school and during his first year of high school at Rockville High School. He is very excited for the opportunity to play an amazing role like SpongeBob & thanks his director, choreographer, music director, cast mates and all the people who made it possible for this show to come to life.

Adam Pisarski - Patrick Star
Adam is wumbo-ly ecstatic to be in his debut production with Ellington Community Theatre in his DREAM show and DREAM role! You may have seen him in shows such as Guys and Dolls (Nicely-Nicely), Legally Blonde (Warner), and The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion). He would like to thank his mommy and daddy for allowing him to watch this wumbofied show and putting up with this goofy goober for 26 years! He would also like to thank his little brother, his BFF, Ryan, for watching the show with him and being a wumbo dude. Enjoy the show! And one more thing: LEEDLE-LEEDLE-LEEDLE-LEE!

Sam Norman - Sandy
Sam Norman is excited to work with ECT again this summer in her first ever lead role, and a character she relates so much to! She has previously held roles both on and off the stage: from being in the ensemble of Matilda (ECT) and The Prom (Exit 7 Players), to stage managing and lighting shows for her college drama club (UHart), to music directing Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr., and directing + acting in her college's yearly production of The Vagina Monologues. She is a general music and choir teacher at Mansfield Middle School (CT), and loves playing ukulele, singing, gaming, and reading in her spare time. Special thank you to Aaron: for being an incredible friend and director, Julia: for choreographing and leading so well, Jake: for being the best drummer, music director, and soulmate a person could ask for, and to Bee and Pickles (her cats): for being the fuzzy lights of her life!

Evelyn Colon - Sheldon J. Plankton
This is Evelyn’s first show with ECT! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Nora Borst - Squidward Q. Tentacles
Nora Borst is thrilled to be involved in her third show with ECT. For the last few years, Nora has worked on several shows with the Opening Knight Players, including They Promised Her the Moon (Jerrie) and Mamma Mia! (Tanya). When offstage, Nora is perpetually playing sudoku. This fall, she will be majoring in Mathematics in Vassar College’s class of 2030. She would like to thank the board, cast, crew, and creative team for their kindness and patience throughout this process.

Scott McNeil - Mr. Krabs
Scotty (He/Him) is a rising 46 y/o who is thrilled to return to the ECT stage for his third show! After serving time as Big Jule in Guys and Dolls and delivering Matilda as The Doctor, he’s ready to make that $$, uh…serve Krabby Patties to Bikini Bottom! Some favorite past shows include Oklahoma (Curly), RENT (Benny), Les Miserables (Enjolras), Shrek, and Newsies. Thanks as always to his biggest supporters Jaime, Max, and Sadie.

Alison Whitburn - Pearl
This is my second show with ECT, previously having been The General in Guys and Dolls. When I wasn't with ECT I had the pleasure of being a part of Page to Stage, where I got to act in Mamma Mia, Carrie The Musical, and Radium Girls at Uconn. I am so excited to bring Pearl to life for y'all as this truly is a dream role of mine. Quick shoutout to my parents who without their support I would not be here today. And no, I don't think I was as moody as a teenager as Pearl but middle school me might have come close. Hope you enjoy the show!

Callie Midford - Gary & Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
This is Callie’s first year at ECT! She is SpongeBobs pet snail Gary, a Jellyfish, a Teen Fish, and a sponge. When she’s not acting she plays sports (basketball and softball) and is always creating something. She's thankful for her family for supporting her and the cast and crew for putting on this amazing show!

Allie Mentz - Karen
This is my first show with ECT, which I wish wasn't true, as this is a great company. Before ECT, I was in many high school productions. My roles include Ensemble in Mamma Mia (Stonington HS), Arden Girl in War Paint (SHS), Narrator 1 in Game of Tiaras (OKP), Helena Cobb in They Promised Her the Moon (OKP), Gina in Hole in the Sky (OKP), and Lisa in Mamma Mia (OKP). Being in Mamma Mia my freshman and senior years was a very cool experience, making those comparisons and seeing the different ideas from two schools and directors' minds. I was also involved with the paint crew/scenic painting all four years of high school, which I loved, and got into costumes my junior and senior years. I am so glad I was introduced to ECT and hope to continue to perform with them for a very long time.

Taylor Smith - Larry
Taylor is playing "ridiculous guy in red" again and is excited to perform alongside his son Kingsley, who plays an Electric Skate. "Rock and Roll!!" This is his second show with Ellington Community Theater. He played Rudolpho in the production of Matilda the Musical last year and is also a member of The Hartford Voices barbershop chorus. He could not be a part of these shows without the support of his person, Amber and is grateful to have her in his life.

Jackson Stearns - Patchy
Jackson is excited to be returning for his third season with ECT. This year he is back to explore his Inner Pirate! Jackson is a recent graduate of Ellington High School where he participated in the Opening Knight Players all four years, and served as the Vice President in his Senior year. He also served as the Lighting Chair and most recently portrayed Pepper in the musical Mama Mia. In the fall he will attend UConn where he intends to pursue a career in Special Education.

Tyler Bennett - Perch Perkins
While not my first time on the stage, SpongeBob The Musical does mark my first time working with ECT, and my second time ever being in a musical. Despite doing theater for almost 9 years, I somehow managed to avoid musical theater for 8 of them. But when SpongeBob's coming to town, who in their right mind can say no? When in Rome! (or rather... when in Bikini Bottom.)

Mackenzie Haskins - Mayor
Mackenzie is excited to be returning to community theatre by doing her first show with Ellington Community Theatre! Some of her previous credits include ensemble in A Christmas Carol, Gypsy (Westfield Theatre Group) as well as Cowardly Lion in Ozma of Oz (Red Door Theatre). She would like to thank her besties Jess, Aaron, Sam and Jacob and her wonderful fiancé Dylan for their never ending support, and a huge thank you to ECT for bringing her back to community theatre!

Shannon Knauss - Mrs. Puff
This is my first musical with ECT! I'm currently attending CT State Community College for Medical Assisting! During my high school years, I have been a part of choir and our school musicals, as well as cross country and track. Additionally, I was a part of TYSCT in Tolland from the ages of 7-18. I'm ecstatic to join this wonderful community, and I can't wait for everyone to see the show! I hope you all have a kelp of a time, and see it go swimmingly! I would like to give a huge shoutout to everyone involved, including the cast, crew, directors, choreographers and everyone else involved! Without you all, the show wouldn't exist! Enjoy the Show!

Perseah Smalley - Old Man Jenkins
Perseah is super excited to play Old Man Jenkins in 'SpongeBob The Musical'! This is her eighth show with ECT, and the 21st show she's acted in! When not rehearsing, Perseah can be found hanging out with her friends or working on creative projects. She'd like to thank all her friends, new and old, for making this show so fun and special.

Arabella Winslow - French Narrator
This is Arabella’s second show with Ellington Community Theater, and her seventh show overall. Her previous shows and roles include Inspector Bungler in “Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine”, Alice in “The Addams Family Young @ Part”, Tammy (Tommy) in “Matilda”, Grace in “Annie Jr.”, Kendall in “EMS Fall Scene Showcase”, Elsa in “Frozen Jr.”, and is now The French Narrator in “Spongebob The Musical”. She is so thrilled to be back in another show with Ellington Community Theater! She is so thankful for all the support and kindness she’s gotten from the cast and directors and loves all the fun and experience she earns by being in this production! She hopes you all enjoy the show and appreciate all the hard work put into it by the cast, crew, and directors. She’d like to thank her mama, her dad, and her brother for showing up to all her shows and always supporting her, as well as everyone a part of this show for their time and dedication. When not acting and singing, Arabella loves to read, watch movies, challenge herself, and spend time with her family. Enjoy the show!

Forrest Williams - Electric Skate/Ensemble
Forrest is excited to be on stage again with ECT. They hope you enjoy the show!

Carson Dionne - Electric Skate/Ensemble
Carson Dionne is happy to be in his first production with ECT. In the past he was an active member of his high schools theater company playing Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia, Gomez Addams in the Addams family, Colonel Mustard in Clue on stage, and Olaf in Disney’s Frozen. He is also the recipient of two Halo awards for his performance as Colonel Mustard and Olaf. He hopes you are ready to rock, and have the best day ever as you enjoy our production of SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL!!!!

Kingsley Smith - Electric Skate/Ensemble
Kingsley Smith is thrilled to be returning to the stage for his second production with the Ellington Community Theatre. After making his theater debut as Nigel in Matilda last year, he is excited to be part of this year's production of SpongeBob as an Electric Skate. Since discovering his love of theater through last year's show, Kingsley has continued to pursue his passion by taking tap and musical theater dance classes. He is grateful for this opportunity and is excited to give his all to help make this production the best one yet!

May Cavanagh - Featured Sardine/Ensemble
May is a seventeen year old passionate actress who has been a part of many ECT plays since her debut of The Munchkin Mayor in The Wizard of Oz in 2019. Since then she has participated in both acting a technical roles in various different groups such as the EMS drama troupe and the Opening Knight Players. She is absolutely ecstatic to be playing the role of a featured sardine in this year’s production of SpongeBob the Musical. She would like to thank the creative team for making the process so fun for everyone and her family, friends, and pets for always supporting her theatrical endeavors. She invites the audience to sit back, relax, and enjoy this nostalgic children’s show, turned into a stunning performance.

Talyah Greene - Featured Sardine/Ensemble
Talyah just graduated from Stafford High School and will be attending University of Hartford in the fall with a major in psychology. This is her third show with Ellington Community Theatre. Two years ago she was in Guys and Dolls as a hotbox dancer and last year she was in the adult ensemble of Matilda. Other past roles she has had outside of ECT have been in the ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors and Phantom of the Opera, Alice Beineke in The Addams Family, and this past year she starred in Stafford High Schools production of Cinderella as Cinderella. She also participated in Show Choir and Chamber Singers as well as regular Concert Choir and worked as a TA at her temple. She is currently a camp counselor at a day camp in Springfield. She would like to thank her family and friends for helping her on her journey in theater, and the entire cast and crew for making this show the best it can be.

Lily Rinaldi - Featured Sardine/Ensemble
Lily Rinaldi is an 11-year-old rising 6th grader at Windermere Elementary School and is thrilled to be part of SpongeBob the Musical! This is Lily’s second production with ECT. Last summer, Lily played the role of “Amanda Thripp” in ECT’s production of Matilda. She has also appeared in over 7 productions with CAST Children’s Theater including Annie Kids as “Annie” and Frozen Jr. as “Middle Anna”. Lily loves performing, singing, and making new friends through theater. She is excited to share the stage with such a talented cast and is grateful to ECT for this wonderful opportunity. Lily would like to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support.

Grace Hardiman - Featured Sardine/Ensemble
My name is Grace and this is my second production with ECT. As a classmate in Matilda last year, I discovered my passion for theater and being under the big lights! I love sharing this joy and cannot wait to shine in SpongeBob! I also love to dance and do Contemporary as well as being on the dance team at my dance studio. Enjoy the show!

Shaye Johnson - Featured Anemone/Security Guard/Ensemble
Shaye Johnson (she/her) is so excited to be in the ensemble of ECT’s production of SpongeBob the Musical. Shaye is an incoming freshman at PVPA and has been doing theatre for 3 years. You may have seen her in other productions such as You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Beetlejuice; and The Wizard of Oz. Soon, Shaye will be appearing in The Laramie Project; Seussical the Musical; and School of Rock. She is so happy you’re watching and hopes you enjoy the show!

Jared Stearns - Security Guard/Ensemble
Theater Dad turns Theater Kid at 60! After helping out behind the scenes for Matilda in 2025; set building, logistics and general unskilled labor, then being recruited to read as John Hall in Ellington Epitaphs, I decided to throw my hat in the ring for Spongebob. I am elated to join my family and all the wonderful people who truly put the Community in Ellington Community Theater!

Sheppard Johnson - Security Guard/Ensemble
Sheppard is excited for his first show ever. He is really excited to be on stage and is ready to act, sing, dance, and chase! When not on stage, you'll find him swimming, playing basketball, riding his bike, baking, drawing/coloring, and begging his mom to make a YouTube video so he can become a YouTube star. He'd like to thank everyone at ECT for the opportunity to be in SpongeBob, and he looks forward to more shows.

Anne Morrissette - Buster Bluetang/Tapping Anemone Ensemble
Anne is so happy to be back together with the ECT family and excited to be performing in SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical! Prior shows with ECT include: Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, and Matilda. She also enjoyed her previous four years as a board member with ECT! Her very first role was Aunt Spiker in James and the Giant Peach. Other past roles include Aunt Em and Ozian in the Muny version of The Wizard of Oz, and other past shows include A Christmas Carol, Matilda (yup, twice!) as well as an insane seven roles in Dr. Dolittle! She also enjoys doing tech for theatre (lights and sound, puppeteering, as well as various other roles behind the scenes including prop master, and stage crew.) Anne also enjoys going to plays and musicals, concerts, food festivals, being at the beach and spending time with her friends and family, (especially her daughter Emilie!). I would like to thank the creative team for being awesome! I would also like to thank my family and friends for supporting me in my love for theatre!

Rich Kenyon - Johnny the Bartender/Pirate #5/Ensemble
This will be my second year performing on stage with ECT and I've enjoyed every bit of it. Last year, you may have seen me as Sergei the Russian Mob Boss at the end of ECT's run of Matilda. I look forward to continuing to work with ECT in future productions and hope you all enjoy the show!

Theo Angelakopolos - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
This will be Theo's very first show with ECT, or any theater company. During the school year he keeps busy with jazz and tap lessons at the Stafford Dance Center. He has really enjoyed seeing firsthand what it takes to put a musical together and is looking forward to continuing this adventure with ECT.

Frankie Banville - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
I am very excited to be a jellyfish, a sponge, and a teen fan in my second show with ECT! I have been doing gymnastics for 4 years at Silk City where I am on the silver competitive team. I also love spending time with my cats and endlessly doing flips on my trampoline! I wanted to thank Arron for putting the show together! I can't wait for everyone to see it!!!

Arayah Heary - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
This is my very first show, and I've really enjoyed meeting and working with my amazing cast mates! I've been learning so much, and know that I have a lot more to learn. In addition to my work with ECT, I study voice at Fox Hill School of Music.

Kenley McKeegan - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
Kenley is thrilled to be in her third musical! This is her second musical with ECT, after being a Newt in Matilda last summer. Kenley loves creating artwork, dancing, playing piano, golfing, reading and playing with her puppy. Special thanks to CT Art School, Toriography Dance Company and Fox Hill School of Music—whose instructors have helped her love of the arts grow. Thank you to everyone who made The SpongeBob Musical possible!

Haley Pancione - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
Haley is 8 years old and is excited to be performing in her very first musical production! When she’s not on stage she enjoys singing, dancing, riding bikes, swimming and playing with friends. She has had so much fun being a part of this show and everyone has been wonderful to work with!

Nora Savage-Tiernan - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
This is Nora's first play/musical. She sparked an interest last year after seeing the ECT production of "Matilda" and telling her mother, "Mom, I want to be a part of this!" Nora loves to make people laugh and smile. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, riding her bike, playing video games, and spending time with her friends and cousins. Nora is so proud to be a part of ECT's "SpongeBob the Musical," from playing a role in the production to helping with set work. This truly is the beginning of a lifelong passion for her.

Evelyn Wright - Jellyfish Chorus/Ensemble
Evelyn is thrilled to be performing in this year’s production. She was hooked after seeing last year's Matilda. She loves singing, dancing, crafting, and making people smile. When she’s not on stage, she’s probably hanging out with friends, playing with her pets, or calling everyone “girly pop.” She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lily Banville - Ensemble
I am very excited to be participating in the Spongebob Musical this year. I do art class with my friends at Connecticut Art School in South Windsor. This year my roles in the show are a sponge, a cowboy fish, a sea anemone, and a sardine. I love spending time with my friends and petting my two cats, Beau and Esme. I am so excited to perform in the show- hope you have fun!

Ava Barrett - Ensemble
Ava is excited to make her debut with the Ellington Theatre Company in this production. Outside of theatre, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs, Fenway and Yogurt. Ava also loves participating in her school chorus and band, and Hamilton is her all-time favorite musical. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this amazing cast and hopes you enjoy the show!

Allie Jackopsic
This will be my third show with ECT as part of the ensemble. When I am not working with my ECT friends, I enjoy dancing with my competition team at The CODE. I take lyrical, jazz, acrobatics, and hip hop. I was Bowser Jr. in our Mario World production that won the Battle of the Stars at Starpower Nationals in Hershey, PA in June! I also enjoy taking acro classes and doing workshops at Trick Dynamix. I really appreciate all of the hard work that goes into the ECT shows and I especially love making new friendships with people of all ages. Enjoy the show!

Alisa Dwyer - Tapping Anemone/Ensemble
I’ve been in Theater for over a decade. This is my 5th show with ECT. Matilda (2025) , Guys and Dolls (Hotbox Dancer, 2024), Beauty and The Beast (Ensemble, 2023) and Peter Pan (2018). I am currently a student at Manchester Community College and a Day Camp counselor at the YMCA. Through High School I was a member of OKP all four years as well as a captain of the Winter Guard team my senior year. I would like to thank my Mom, Dad, two sisters and wonderful dog Simon for their love and support

Alex Kenyon - Ensemble
This is my second year with ECT. Last year, I was part of the "Newts" in Matilda the musical, and this year I am a member of the Angry Mob, one of the Teen Fans, one of the sardines that are not the main 5, one of the BFF fish, and one of the Sponges in the SpongeBob musical. I would like to thank ECT for having me in these plays and for inspiring my future acting career. I would also want to thank my mom, dad, and friends for supporting me throughout everything.

Emma Smolenski - Ensemble
Emma returns to Ellington Community Theatre after playing Myrtie Hyde in Ellington Epitaphs. She caught the musical theatre bug last August playing Specs in the Little Theatre of Manchester’s production of Newsies and has since performed with CAST Children’s Theatre in Aladdin Jr. and Beetlejuice. Off stage, Emma enjoys lacrosse, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and classes at the Connecticut Art School.

Nora Ballou - Tapping Anemone/Ensemble
This is Nora’s second production with ECT. She has been dancing for eight years and has several years of chorus experience. She is excited to be part of this year’s production, performing in the ensemble and showcasing her tap dancing. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Hadley Ballou - Ensemble
This is Hadley’s third show with ECT and she is in the ensemble. She has two cats and two dogs that she loves a lot. Outside of theater she enjoys dance, drawing, video games, and cosplay.

Maureen Crocker - Tapping Anemone
Formerly known as “Mystery Tapper #5”, Maureen is bringing her tapping skills to center stage this year as a Tapping Anemone. This is her second time on stage with ECT and when she is not tapping, she can be found keeping the Board of Directors exquisitely organized with her fabulous spreadsheets and a myriad of other valuable skills.

Christine Montanari - Tapping Anemone
Christine is thrilled to be taking the stage for her third show with ECT. She previously appeared in ECT’s productions of “Guys and Dolls” (with her trusty sidekick ‘the drum’), and “Matilda” as the nurse and a Telly Tapper. When she is not on stage tapping she is a Preschool Teacher and serves on the ECT Board of Directors.

Allison Montanari - Tapping Anemone
Allison is thrilled to be involved in her 4th production with ECT. She has previously performed in Beauty and the Beast, and Guys and Dolls and served on production crew for Matilda. She has also performed in productions at Ellington Middle School such as Dinner at 8, Dead by 9 and The Addams Family Young @ Part.
